So I'm moved into my new neighborhood in East Oakland called Oakpark..close to foothill, international and fruitvale.
I was welcomed into the neighborhood when i was moving my boxes from the car to the basement of the house. As i was doing so, an African American lady of about 30 or so walks up to me and asks if I could spare 50 cents so she can call her son and tell him that she is running late. i give her a dollar.
She thanks me and as she walks by me she brushes my shoulder with her hand and says "God Bless you". I return the God Bless you and she then asks me another question...
"Are you single?"
I awkwardly reply a "yes?"
"Oh, where do you live"
(About to point at a house down the street to where i was standing, I stop myself) "...right over...waiit.. why do you want to know?"
(i actually forget what she said after that, since i was kind of flustered)
